Child and Family Services
Grande Prairie (and all the small surrounding communities that encompasses) Peace River, Valleyview, Fairview, High Prairie, High Level, Slave Lake, Athabasca, WestLock, YAC (Youth Assessment Center in Lac La Biche & High Prairie), Hinton/Jasper, Beaverlodge, Whitecourt

We support many local schools in Grande Prairie & Area:

We support about half a dozen schools in Grande Prairie, and a few rural schools outside of Grande Prairie (approximately 10 or more) We work with many school principals and counselors who flag kids who are dealing with trauma, or poverty.

Odyssey House

We bring LuvPaks approximately twice a year for kids coming into the shelter escaping violent homes.

Grande Prairie Victims Assistance

We help supply them with a empty backpacks to assist them in building their rape kits (approximately 10 a year) and we supply them with approximately 10 full Luvpaks/year to gift children that have experienced inconceivable trauma.

Sunrise House

We typically support Sunrise House twice a year in the quieter months about 20+ a year.

Caribou Child and Youth Center in GP

We supply Luvpaks to the center, to gift the children who have been victims of sexual abuse and come from homes that are experiencing poverty, or are being placed in the foster care system.
